I think it’s no different from any other walk of life. Drugs are very real in society, alcohol , cocaine , trips etc are a part of life these days and have been for quite some time. I’ve known several non musicians who have died of drug overdoses.

I’m not an addict myself, but I’ve known several addicts and drug and alcohol abuse counselors. I’ve seen the program work, and I’ve seen it fail. Nevertheless, while the success rate is as good as any other, or better, it’s still not …… Alcohol , sex, gambling , marijuana are a few common examples.
